Accommodation

Because Utrecht hosts several large conferences in July 2017, accommodation is in high demand and prices will be relatively high. We therefore recommend all participants to arrange their accommodation as soon as possible, either via our selected reservation offices (as of January 2017, see also underneath), or via alternative ways.

Booking your arrangement is not related to the registration for the conference, so you do not need to wait for the conference registration to open (expected to open February 2017) to already arrange your accommodation.

 

Regular accommodation

We have been able to arrange discounts for conference participants with various hotels in and around Utrecht. Many of the accommodations are within walking distance of the Conference locations; accommodations outside of the City center of Utrecht have nearby frequent bus services to the City center. As accommodation in Utrecht is in high demand in July, we have also selected some hotels in nearby towns within 30 min. travel range from the conference venues. All hotel bookings will be managed via one of our selected reservation offices, starting January 2017.

 

Low-cost facilities

Due to the central location of Utrecht and high demand of accommodation, low-cost accommodation is relatively scarce in and around Utrecht. Nevertheless, the organizers of the conference aim to arrange a limited amount of low-cost facilities for short-stay-accommodations at student campuses of Utrecht University. These bookings will also be managed by one of our selected reservation offices, starting January 2017.

More info about the available hotels and other accommodations is expected to be available via this website early 2017.

As conference organizers we do want to inform you that, due to the size of the conference and the logistics, all bookings will be arranged entirely between the participants and the booking offices; the conference organization will not be involved in any way with booking  arrangements.
